Would you like to start anew?

This account was started when I was fifteen years old. I used it to keep track of Deanna because I love her and her art.

I am not the same person now. I have a lot more confidence, which really says it all. I will no longer post my art with the precursor of "this isn't very good". Art isn't about being good. I will post whatever I want.

Oh, and I have Ceramics I made that I can post pictures of. Yay, ceramics. I also wrote 2 poems, but they are both lame and unfinished, so I won't post them. Go me. I lookeda t my gallery, and it's pretty lame.. I know I can do better than that. I will try.


EIGHT THINGS TO DO BEFORE I DIE:

1) Be happy (well.. I guess remain happy? I'm incredibly happy as of late..)
2) Have a fulfilling career that I enjoy
3) Learn to do all sorts of things and be a jack of all trades.. (Building things, sculpting things, carving wood, sewing, etc)
4) Learn to play the mandolin, banjo, harp and continue playing the guitar.
5) Be a funny, upbeat, clever person.
6) Read ridiculous amounts of books, including everything on my summer reading list (choose two.. pish-posh, choose them all!)
7) Learn to fight heavy and do combat archery in the SCA
8) Have a medium-sized parrot and a dog named Sputnik as pets..

1) Decide what to do with my life
2) Give up an arguement/debate (I don't care if I can't change a person's opinion, I just don't like dropping it without an agreement)
3) Enjoy rap music
4) Cry during hollywood movies (I haven't since I saw the Lion King when I was seven or something... But I will cry during documentaries)
5) Fail school (More like "not be the top of my class" ... I'm a prick, but at least I'm a successful one.)
6) Eat mustard
7) Draw .. My mind is creative enough, and I can sculpt, build, throw (on a wheel, dumbass), design, etc, but not just draw it.

who the hell doesn't? Of course I do.

Yes, two of them. They were both named Jason, were both the same age, and neither of them disapointed me in any way. I don't talk to either of them any more, but I suspect I will go visit the castlegar Jason when I can drive on my own.

Jeebus, no. I have to foce myself to get active.

4. Are you: thin, fat, athletically built, etc?
I wouldn't say I'm fat, but I do weigh more than an average person of my height and size should way, and I have a higher % of body fat than I should. Technically, that makes me obese, but I really don't look, feel or believe I'm fat.

5. How much do you weigh?
about 165 lbs last time I checked, but I think I lost weight since then

5'5" ish?

I am an odd one... I wouldn't stereotype myself, but you could say I look like what would happen if tomboy met hippie.

Not as much as I would like to, but more than I used to

I'll listen to any music, assuming it suits my fancy. I have never met a rap song I like, and I generally hate the genre, but I am not completely closed off if I find a song I like. I also don't usually listen to country, but there are a few songs I like. Mostly it's Ska, rock, classical, folk, world, metal, etc.

22. Do you play any instruments?
I play the guitar... not very well, mind you. I am taking guitar 12 next year.

23.How long have you been writing?
I dunno, I don't really write a lot. I started when I was about 11, because everyone was posting their poems on the first messageboard I ever went to... So I wanted to, aswell. I wrote some cheesy poem (it was called "life is like a lightbulb", or some other dumb thing like that) and stuck it up there. Anyways.. I don't actively write, although I do enjoy it.

Wow. It's been forever since I even THOUGHT of my DA, let alone looked at it. I still use the site to watch friends, but completely forgot I have my own thing here. As far as my artistic skills go, I was lacking before and I have ltitle motivation to improve. I guess I have potential, but I'm stuck in rut. I hate my style. I've tried SO HARD to change it, and nothing will work. I can't find my own artistic identity. I have no sketch book, which doesn't help.

On a brighter note, I actually HAVE been doing some artsy things. I am in a ceramics class, and have made some pretty OK stuff. I will take pictures when they are all done and I can take them home. I LOVE sculpting. So much fun.

1. I wear really ugly clothing. REALLY UGLY. It's comfortable and I don't feel self concious, so why not? It's a phase, and I will move on when I'm ready.

2. I have a pet bird named Cobalt. He humps my head. It's kind of disturbing.

3. If I had another dog of my own, I'd name him Sputnik and call him "Spud" for short.

4. I laugh at my own jokes. I inherited it from my mom, I can't help it.

5. I'm in the SCA. I pretend to be a mongol from around the 14th century. AKA I dress up in costumes and do "ren faire" type things.

6. I love my hair. I am not usually concerned with my appearance, but when it comes to my hair, I go all out. I use expensive salon products and greatly look forward to haircuts. Bess did it to me. Blame her for my gorgeous curly locks.

I can't draw now. I can't force myself to. worked on requests.. failed... oh well.

HOwever, I have been feeling strangely poetic. last night I started four poems and finished one of them. I don't think I'll let them loose into the open, but if one turns out well, I might. hmm.

been feeling very open lately. I want to tell everyone everything. I like having people close to me, but I suppose people will start to think I'm clingy.. which I am.. I get lonely after spending one hour by myself.. it's pathetic, really. Of course I have to have my time alone, but I want my people around me. I have too much love for this god damn world.
